- Committee members consult and comment upon a wide variety of Occupational Health related consultative documents and represent the profession on several other committees and working groups.
- Professional networking -e.g. RCN SOHN, FOHNEU & multi- professional groups such as POOSH in Scotland.
- Organise an annual educational conference (usually in April) including limited financial assistance to nurses (including students) wishing to attend the event (previously known as the Jane Wilson fund) (refer to funding page) and (conference page(s))
- Act in a consultancy capacity for the awarding of Mair Scholarship monies (refer to funding page)
As a group, the OHN Forum (Scotland) are committed to sharing ideas and aspire to raise the profile of Occupational Health nursing not only in Scotland but within Europe and indeed worldwide.
